For event organizers requesting OIS assistance with the room technology for an event or meeting. 


There are several ways to request event support: 



Option 1: 25 Live


The easiest option for an event organizer to request event support from OIS is by adding it as a "resource" request within 25live. 


Any one of the following listed resources will work. Search for either "IT - Video Conferencing" or "IT - WiFI" or "Technology Help" and then "Reserve" the resource.





Option 2: Submit a ticket with OIS


You can submit a ticket directly with OIS by following the instructions here: How to submit a ticket : Harrisburg University IT Helpdesk. You can also submit a ticket by sending an email to oishelp@harrisburgu.edu 





What information should I include? 


Either method will automatically create a ticket. OIS will see the ticket and assign it to our Audio Video support specialist who will reach out for more information. It helps to have the following information on hand. If some of the details are still TBD, that's okay! Just update the ticket as soon as the details are confirmed. If there are multiple days, include those in one ticket. 


Information needed: 

- What room(s) have you reserved for the event?

- What date is the event? (If multiple days, include those) 
- What time is the event set to start? (If there are multiple through the day, include those)
- What time do you need technology support? 
- What kind of tech assistance do you expect you'll need? (examples: help with presentation, joining a virtual meeting, etc) 
- Is the event fully in person or are they expecting any virtual participants? 
- Do you need guest Wi-Fi created? If so, do you have a preference on username/password?
